Publication Ethics

This journal can be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched, or linked to the full text of this article, save the article, browse for indexing, pass it as data to software, or use it for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal constraints , or technical matters other than those that cannot be separated from gaining access to the internet itself.

This scientific publication code of ethics

Statement was made based on LIPI Head Regulation No. 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications. The publication code of ethics is a norm that must be adhered to by authors who will publish their scientific work in publication media, including:

  • Morals: able to differentiate between good and bad behavior in writing.
  • Scientific integrity: upholding scientific principles, essence and truth, so as not to sacrifice them for the sake of any interests.
  • Neutrality: free from conflict of interest in publication management
  • Justice: giving authorship rights to those entitled to be authors
  • Honesty: free from duplication, fabrication, falsification and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

Unpublished material in a submitted article may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.

Duties and Responsibilities of Editor in Chief

  1. Determine the name of the journal, scientific scope, periodicity, and accreditation if necessary.
  2. Determine editor membership.
  3. Define the relationship between publishers, editors, publisher partners and other parties.
  4. Respect matters of a confidential nature, both for contributing researchers, authors/authors, editors, and publisher partners.
  5. Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
  6. Review journal policies and convey them to authors, editors, review partners and readers.
  7. Create a code of conduct guide for editors and review partners.
  8. Publish journals regularly.
  9. Ensure the availability of funding sources for the sustainability of journal publication.
  10. Building cooperation and marketing networks.
  11. Improve the quality of the journal.
  12. Prepare permits and other legal aspects.

Editor's Duties and Responsibilities

  1. The editor provides comments on the author's writing so that readers can understand what the author wants to convey, through comments written on the article.
  2. The editor provides comments on the author's writing in accordance with EBI language (Indonesian Spelling) or language that complies with the journal's standards.
  3. The editor strives to continuously improve the quality of publications;
  4. Editors prioritize freedom of opinion objectively,
  5. The editor submits corrections, clarifications, withdrawals and apologies if necessary,
  6. The editor ensures that the author's writing does not involve SARA or anything that could be detrimental to the publisher and coordinates the author's writing with the publisher's chief editor if the writing is a little controversial.
  7. The editor receives, reviews and follows up on complaints from all parties involved in journal publication;
  8. Editors support initiatives to educate researchers about publication ethics,
  9. The editor does not maintain his own opinion, that of the author or third parties which could result in non-objective decisions,
  10. The editor encourages authors/authors to improve their written work until it is suitable for publication.
  11. The editor layouts the article to be published so that it matches the journal template.
  12. The editor assists the editor-in-chief in finalizing a collection of articles before they are printed and published, especially in terms of language, format and layout

Duties and Responsibilities of Bestari Partners

  1. Provide objective and unbiased written feedback regarding the scientific value and contribution of the article to the development of science;
  2. Show whether the writing of the article is clear, complete and relevant, and whether the article is in accordance with the scope of the journal;
  3. Do not provide personal criticism or comments; And
  4. Maintain the confidentiality of the article, by not discussing it with unrelated parties, or disclosing the information contained in the article to other parties.

Writer's Ethics

Code of ethics that must be fulfilled by writers who will publish their scientific articles in JAMBE: Journal of Business and Economic Management Accounting:

  1. Writers must uphold scientific conduct and understand the benefits and risks of published articles.
  2. Published articles are free from misconduct, including: fabrication, falsification of data and plagiarism/autoplagiarism.
  3. The author must include adequate citations for all statements, ideas, data, which are not the result of his research.
  4. The published article does not cause conflict with certain parties or has the potential to disturb the public.
  5. The authors listed on the published article are truly competent and have made a significant contribution to writing the article.
  6. The author does not double publish the article to be published (double manuscript submission) to a journal or other publication facility, simultaneously.
  7. Parts or all of the articles published have never been published in other publication facilities.
  8. Published articles are original research results, ideas or thoughts of the author.

If the article has been declared accepted, the author is required to fill out an Author's Statement Letter regarding the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications which is signed on a stamp by the main author
